The International Science, Technology and Innovation Centre for South-South Cooperation under the auspices of UNESCO (ISTIC) in collaboration with the National Centre of Science and Technology Evaluation (NCSTE), Kazakhstan, Islamic Development Bank (IDB), Islamic Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (ISESCO) and Malaysia Technology Development Corporation (MTDC) organized the Training Workshop on Preparing R&D Proposal and Technopreneurship for CIS Countries in Astana, Kazakhstan from 13-17 October 2014. The Training Workshop which was attended by 26 participants from 12 countries was officiated by Mrs. Kussainova Lazzat, Deputy Chairman of the Science Committee under the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan. The President of NCSTE, Director of ISTIC and representative of ISESCO gave the welcome address at the Opening Session of the workshop. The President of NCSTE, Dr. Jumabekov Assanbay gave the closing address and also presented the certificates to all participants.
