ISTIC’s Involvement in the
C2C Network
In 2024, ISTIC organized the International Symposium of the Category 2 Institutes and Centres under the Auspices of UNESCO in the Field of Natural Sciences in Kuala Lumpur.
The symposium brought together experts, UNESCO Category 2 Centres, and international partners to strengthen scientific cooperation and accelerate progress toward the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). In the context of the International Decade of Sciences for Sustainable Development (2024–2033), the event served as a platform for dialogue, knowledge exchange, and collaboration on the role of science, technology, and innovation in building a more sustainable and inclusive future.
