Applications are now open for the Global South Key Teachers’ AI Literacy Training Program 2026, jointly organized by ISTIC, the Academy of Engineering and Technology of the Developing World (AETDEW), and Sri Bestari Private School Kuala Lumpur.

This 2.5-day programme will equip primary and secondary school teachers with practical knowledge and skills in AI literacy, AI pedagogy, classroom applications, and emerging AI technologies, while fostering collaboration among educators across the Global South.

The programme will welcome 50 participants, including 15 international teachers from Global South countries and 35 teachers from Malaysia. International applicants should be practicing primary or secondary school teachers with an interest in AI education, a good command of English, and support from their school.
