Applications are now open for the 3rd East Africa Regional Capacity Building Training Workshop on Strengthening Science Diplomacy for Sustainable Development, a five-day programme designed to strengthen the capacity of researchers, policymakers, and science professionals to bridge science, policy, and international cooperation.

 

Date: 21–25 September 2026

Location: Main Campus Maseno University, Kisumu, Kenya

 

Building on the East Africa Regional Workshop (EARW) Series established in 2024, this programme will equip participants with practical skills in science diplomacy, science communication, policy engagement, negotiation, and international collaboration. The workshop welcomes researchers, academics, policymakers, science advisors, research managers, and professionals working on sustainable development challenges.
