The\u00a0delegation\u00a0was\u00a0led\u00a0by\u00a0<\/span>H.E. Mr. Jean-Pierre Raffarin<\/span><\/b>,\u00a0Founder\u00a0of Leaders for\u00a0Peace\u00a0and Former Prime\u00a0Minister\u00a0of France,\u00a0together\u00a0with\u00a0<\/span>Ms. Donia\u00a0Kaouach<\/span><\/b>,\u00a0President\u00a0of Leaders for\u00a0Peace, and\u00a0<\/span>Madam\u00a0Irina\u00a0Bokova<\/span><\/b>, Former\u00a0Director-General of UNESCO and Patron of ISTIC,\u00a0accompanied\u00a0by\u00a0representatives\u00a0of the Leaders for\u00a0Peace\u00a0network.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>

ISTIC was represented by Prof. ChM. Dr. Mohd Basyaruddin Abdul Rahman<\/strong><\/span>, Chairman of the ISTIC\u00a0Governing\u00a0Board, and\u00a0<\/span>Academician\u00a0Dato\u2019 Ir. Lee Yee\u00a0Cheong<\/span><\/b>,\u00a0Honorary\u00a0Chairman of ISTIC. The\u00a0visit\u00a0provided\u00a0an important platform for dialogue on\u00a0s<\/span>hared\u00a0priorities\u00a0in\u00a0peacebuilding, leadership\u00a0development,<\/span><\/b>\u00a0and the\u00a0role\u00a0of\u00a0<\/span>science,\u00a0technology\u00a0and innovation (STI)<\/span><\/b>\u00a0in\u00a0sustainable\u00a0development.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t

A key outcome of the visit was the <\/span>signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU)<\/span><\/b> between ISTIC and Leaders for Peace. The MoU establishes a <\/span>framework\u00a0for\u00a0cooperation<\/span><\/b>,\u00a0enabling\u00a0both\u00a0institutions to\u00a0work\u00a0together\u00a0on\u00a0joint programmes,\u00a0capacity-building initiatives, and\u00a0knowledge-sharing\u00a0activities<\/strong> that support peace, leadership, and inclusive development, particularly in developing countries.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>

Both Parties also expressed strong interest in initiating their <\/span>first collaborative project in the area of Artificial Intelligence (AI) education<\/span><\/b>,\u00a0with\u00a0a focus on\u00a0<\/span>training\u00a0educators\u00a0in\u00a0developing\u00a0countries<\/span><\/b>. <\/span>This initiative reflects a shared commitment to leveraging emerging technologies to strengthen human capital and promote equitable access to quality education.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t
