From <\/span><\/span>25 to 27 November 2025<\/span><\/span>, the International Science, <\/span>Technology<\/span> and Innovation Center under the auspices of <\/span>Unesco<\/span> (ISTIC) took part in the <\/span><\/span>ASEAN Technology Cooperation and Development Summit<\/span><\/span><\/a> 2025<\/span><\/span>, held at <\/span><\/span>MITEC, Kuala Lumpur<\/span><\/span>. Co-<\/span>organised<\/span> by <\/span><\/span>UNESCO<\/span><\/span><\/a>, the <\/span><\/span>Diplomatic Council<\/span><\/span><\/a>, <\/span>the <\/span><\/span>Sino-International Entrepreneurs Federation (SIEF)<\/span><\/span><\/a>, <\/span>the<\/span><\/span> Malaysian Research Accelerator for Technology and Innovation (MRANTI)<\/span>,<\/span><\/span><\/a> NCT Group<\/span><\/span>,<\/span><\/span><\/a> and<\/span> <\/span>Intrinsic SEA<\/span><\/span><\/a>, the summit brought together key actors shaping the technological and innovation landscape across ASEAN and beyond.<\/span><\/span> <\/span><\/h6>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

This high-level gathering convened <\/span>government agencies, academic experts, industry leaders, and\u00a0 investors<\/span><\/b> from ASEAN member states and partner countries. Together, they explored the future of science, technology, and innovation (STI), identifying opportunities for collaboration and outlining strategic directions for the region\u2019s innovation ecosystem.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>

ISTIC\u2019s presence at the summit underscores its <\/span>core mission to build and reinforce STI capacities across Global South countries<\/span><\/b>, with a strong emphasis on partnership-driven development.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>
