On 24 November, ISTIC under the auspices of UNESCO in collaboration with National Research Foundation of South Africa (NRF), hosted a Consultative Meeting and Concept Co-Creation Workshop in Pretoria, South Africa. 🇿🇦 🌐 The meeting brought together partners from across Africa and Asia to further shape the emerging AFRASIA framework, an initiative focused on strengthening #science, #technology, and Innovation (STI) #Cooperation between the two regions. Representatives from the @Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Technology Indonesia (MoHEST), the Malaysia Science Endowment (MSE), and South Africa’s Technology Innovation Agency (TIA) participated in the discussions, with CSIR, India India joining as an observer. Yesterday, the International Science Technology and Innovation Center under the auspices of UNESCO was invited to take part in the #ASEAN Technology Cooperation and Development Summit 2025, held from 25–27 November at the Malaysia International Trade and Exhibition Centre (MITEC) in Kuala Lumpur! 🇲🇾 Co-organised by UNESCO, the Diplomatic Council, Sino-International Entrepreneurs Federation (SIEF), MRANTI, NCT GROUP and Intrinsic SEA, this summit gathers leading voices driving #technological progress and regional #collaboration across #ASEAN.
